The carnival is live!

The first ever Dance Carnival! is open!

I'm going to start things off with a pretty simple get-to-know-you kind of question: What are your dance-related goals for 2007? Of course, those goals can be in any shape or form: things you want to achieve, shows you want to see, techniques you want to improve, articles you want to get published, everything.

Please have your posts written and submitted by 12/26/06. I will post the carnival of posts on 1/1/07.

Multiple people have asked me how this works, so I'm re-posting a little summary I wrote for a message board:

How this works:
1 - I post a question/topic and a deadline to my blog (see above)
2 - People who want to participate write a post in their blog about the question/topic, then send me a link to it
3 - I write up a big summary post with links to everybody's posts

Then everybody kicks back with a cup of hot chocolate and reads everyone else's posts.
